New Course Record – 2009 Irvine City Championship

July 18, 2009 – Raymond Ho shot an opening round 65  and led the field at (- 6) after Day 1 of the 2009 Irvine City Championship. This is by far the best round ever recorded during individual stroke play at Strawberry Farms.  This course plays tough for the best players and “no one has ever gone this low” …hats off to Raymond Ho who went on to win this 36-hole stroke play event.  The event hosted some of the best amateur golfers from California, Arizona and Oregon…

   I’ve played in this event several times. The course always plays tough and a score this low is impressive. I shot 86 – 88 in 2007, this kid is good.

   yea i played this event to.. course was playing impossible.. kids gotta be amazing.. 65 is a very low score on this course..raymond ho way to go!
